So even if a Philips Respironics machine has been discharged from a hospital or clinic (the traditional discharge information on which end of the hospital has sent the machine to us) and is returned to the owner in its pack, it must still be initialized and started by calling the Philips Respironics Registration Admin console at http://owner.56.nwu.edu/Admin .
We will no longer accept new warrants on Philips Respironics machines. The manufacturer policy was too restrictive. We want to repair as many of these machines as we can and make them usable again. Warrant Service has been discontinuanceed.
Upon return of a Philips Respironics machine, the user must re-register all Philips Respironics machines. For the few that are missing or not responding firstly check the OSCT database. If the machine is in there, activate it. If not, go to Philips Respironics and start all the machines requested. When that is done, go back here (http://www.nwu.edu/forte/OSCT) and reregister the machine as a new machine. d2c66b5586
